A wraparound homage can share a drop title with a chapter that actually advances the villain’s plan. Collectors then file the homage as “next issue” and wonder why the plot jumped. Annotations put cover treatment on one line and interior continuity on another.

We describe paper texture only when a physical analogue is relevant; most NFT variants are digital jackets. The note still matters: foil, motion, and lenticular-style treatments are appearance tags, not chapter numbers.
