Issue chronology matching

Chronology matching sits NFT comic chapters beside the print issue numbers collectors already quote, without pretending the digital drop is the same physical pamphlet.

Library shelves of bound volumes used when comparing collected comics

Many NFT chapters remix a print story with extra recap boards or trimmed splash pages. Chronology matching records those differences so a reading group does not argue from two different objects.

We note:

  • claimed analogue issue numbers
  • pages added or removed versus a standard pamphlet
  • where a motion extra covers the same scene as still panels
  • whether a digital backup strip exists only in the NFT file

This work is review and record-keeping. We do not scan whole issues onto the website. Bring your own files or cite publicly described drop titles.

If a collected edition already exists on paper, we still treat the NFT drop as its own object. That avoids filing a variant cover as if it were a new plot chapter.
